Where students prove skills through real job work instead of resumes and recruiters hire based on performance not claims.
There is a major gap between how students prepare for job and what companies actually expect. Most students build resumes around courses, certifications, and practice problems, but these rarely demonstrate their ability to solve real-job challenges. At the same time, gaining experience has become very difficult. Internships are highly competitive & freshers struggle to get opportunities because companies prefer experienced candidates. as result: HRs cannot fully trust what is written on paper
What does your startup do?
There is a major disconnect between how students prepare for jobs and what companies actually expect.
Today, students build resumes based on courses completed, certifications earned, and practice problems solved. However, much of this does not reflect real work ability. Students often learn concepts they may never actually use in a job, and when it comes to applying their skills in real-world scenarios, many struggle.
As a result:
- Resumes become inflated but unreliable
- Students lack real-world execution experience
- Recruiters cannot fully trust what is written on paper
At the same time, gaining experience has become increasingly difficult. Internships are highly competitive and limited, and freshers struggle to get opportunities because companies prefer experienced candidates.
This creates a broken system where students prepare for interviews rather than actual jobs, while companies hire based on assumptions instead of proven ability.
That’s the problem we are solving with Experr.
Experr is a performance-based platform that simulates real job environments and evaluates users based on actual work instead of theoretical knowledge.
Instead of endlessly consuming courses or solving only interview-style problems, users complete real-world, role-based tasks that reflect the kind of work they would actually perform inside a company.
The platform generates two structured tasks per day to encourage consistent growth without overwhelming users. After submission, an AI-powered evaluation system analyzes the work and provides:
- Detailed feedback
- Performance scores
- Coins as measurable performance output
These coins power a dynamic performance ecosystem:
- Users are ranked on leaderboards based on performance
- A coin decay mechanism reduces rankings for inactivity, ensuring consistency matters as much as skill
- Performance is continuously tracked over time instead of being measured only once
Each user also builds a shareable performance profile containing their completed tasks, consistency data, rankings, achievements, and overall work history — allowing them to prove their skills through measurable performance instead of simply claiming them on a resume.
Experr directly connects performance to opportunity. Recruiters can access performance-based profiles to identify candidates with proven real-world ability instead of relying only on resumes and interviews. Top performers can also receive referral opportunities through the platform.
We believe the future of hiring should move from resume-based evaluation to continuous performance-based evaluation.
Our vision is to become the performance layer between education and employment — where students prove skills through real work, recruiters hire based on evidence, and hiring becomes more efficient, skill-driven, and merit-based.
Experr also enables students to gain practical experience alongside their existing college education, helping them become job-ready before graduation instead of struggling to gain experience only after college ends.

Founder
I’m Farhan Akhtar, BCA student & software developer with a passion for solving real-world problems through technology. I founded Experr after repeatedly seeing the gap between what students learn and what employers expect. Instead of waiting until graduation, I started building a product that could help bridge that gap. Alongside developing the MVP, I’ve actively sought feedback from founders, recruiters and mentors, believing that the best products are shaped by listening rather than assumption
